As the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) took shape, MadFibers needed a way to create Digital Product Passports (DPPs) for their entire product line. The requirements were complex: full lifecycle traceability, circularity metrics, material composition disclosures, and machine-readable data formats.

As a growing SME, MadFibers lacked the in-house resources to build a custom DPP solution, and enterprise platforms were prohibitively expensive and overly complex for their needs.

MadFibers chose Sustalium to create comprehensive Digital Product Passports with full traceability and circularity metrics. Using the platform, they were able to:
