Publishing Your First Compliance Page

Most people assume publishing a compliance document means exporting a PDF and emailing it. There's a better output: a live page with a permanent URL and a QR code that shows the current version of your declaration to anyone who scans it. The publishing part takes under half an hour. This is the walkthrough, including the parts that honestly take longer.

Step 1: Company and brand

You register your company and brand identity — legal name, address, contact details, logos. This data gets reused on every page you publish afterwards, so the address on your CE declaration and the address on your GDPR record come from the same field and stay consistent.

This step matters more than it looks. The company details appear on public pages that buyers, customs brokers and market surveillance authorities read. Getting them right once beats correcting them across forty documents.

Step 2: Add your products

You upload your product catalog — CSV import if you have hundreds of SKUs, manual entry if you have five. Each product record carries the basics: model numbers, materials, suppliers, test data references.

An honest note here: the upload is minutes. Gathering the underlying data — test reports, supplier declarations, material specifications — is the real project, and no platform can invent it for you. What a structured system changes is that you gather it once and every document you publish afterwards reuses it.

Step 3: Pick your frameworks
